Who We Serve
Conocer’s mission is to serve people who areworking to create better neighborhoods,
communities or organizations.
We call these people public leaders. We believe
public leaders heed a calling from deep within
themselves to help everyone in their communities or
organizations pursue shared aspirations to improve
the future.
The public leaders with whom we work focus on a
variety of issues. Some are working toward
economic security for families and lifelong learning
opportunities for people of all ages. Others are
working to improve the health care system or
strengthen community institutions.
Improving the world is hard work. Making an effort to lead is even more difficult. That is why we created Conocer. We sincerely believe in public leaders and have dedicated our professional lives to supporting their efforts.
